Cristiano Ronaldo was embarrassed on Sunday afternoon after a dribbling technique went horribly wrong.

The five-time Ballon d’Or winner was taking part in a warm-up session with his team-mates ahead of United’s clash with Arsenal at Old Trafford.

Ronaldo was joined by Fred during the session when the veteran striker’s back heel dribble attempt failed to go to plan.

In a viral video making the rounds on social media, Ronaldo can be seen mocking himself in resignation as a puzzled Fred puts his hands on his head.

Meanwhile, Ronaldo was not included in the starting line-up that faced the Gunners in the match, with the United icon forced off the bench.

Erik ten Hag also made a bold move by naming summer arrival Casemiro on the substitutes’ bench, with Scott McTominay starting mid-game at the expense of the multiple Champions League winner.

Antony and Marcus Rashford team up to sink Arsenal

Brave appeals from Ten Hag paid off as United handed Arsenal their first defeat of the season with a 3-1.

Antony used the opportunity to announce his arrival by scoring on his debut for the Red Devils, with Rashford netting a brace to inspire the hosts to victory.
