Punjab reshuffles another 29 police officers – Newspaper

LAHORE: The Punjab government has reshuffled another 29 police officers, including eight Chief Superintendents of Police (SSP) and Superintendents of Police (SP).

According to the notifications, Gujranwala Investigation SSP, Retired Captain Mohammad Aamir Khan Niazi has been transferred and assigned as Deputy Investigator Rawalpindi SSP Rai Mazhar who has been transferred and assigned as Sargodha CTD SP against an existing vacancy, Sargodha Regional Investigation Branch SSP Mohammad Asghar Malik has been transferred and introduced as Sihala PC SP Vice Tariq Walait who has been transferred and assigned as Punjab CTD Operations SSP against an existing vacancy. Awaiting Assignment Asif Masood has been assigned as the new SSP of Regional Investigation Branch Sargodha Region, Punjab Headquarters CTD SP Umar Farooq has been transferred and assigned as AIG Discipline at Police Central Bureau against an existing vacancy, pending assignment Karar Hussain Syed has been transferred and assigned as AIG Supply to CPO against an existing vacancy, pending assignment Usman Ijaz Bajwa has been assigned as SSP of the Punjab Highway Patrol Headquarters.

Similarly, the Punjab Police Department has also issued orders for the transfer and posting of 21 DSPs across the province.
